Free PowerPoint Tips - How to Disable Animation Auto Preview in PowerPoint

Have you been annoyed any time whilst editing some animations in PowerPoint with the Auto-Preview of Animation each time you insert or edit an object animation in the PowerPoint Slide?

If your answer is yes, then here is the PowerPoint Tip to Stop or Disable the Animation Auto Preview in PowerPoint.

In the PowerPoint Ribbon Menu, click on the Animation Tab which you usually click to add animations to objects whilst editing.

On the menu below the Animation Tab, look for the 'Preview' Tab and click on its lower part.

This will open a drop down menu with two tabs.

Click the 'AutoPreview' which has a Check Mark on it, to turn Off the Animation Auto-Preview option.

If you click on the same Preview Tab, you will see that the Check Mark is not there on the Auto-Preview which means the Animation Auto-Preview has been disabled or turned off.

Any time you want to get the animation Preview, you will now have to Click on this Preview Button because you have turned the Animation Auto-Preview Off.

If you want to turn on the Animation Auto-Preview, just go to the Preview Tab again and enable it by Clicking on the Auto-Preview again. It is as simple as that.
